We don’t let time pass by, we make history

Granada Conference Centre dates back to the end of 1987, when the Junta of Andalusia and the City Council of Granada, created the “Granada Exhibition and Conference Centre” Consortium, with the aim of constructing and managing it.

It was not until the 19th of April 1992 that it was opened by the Spanish Royal Family. This was a year of great celebrations in our country, as the Seville Universal Exposition and Barcelona Olympic Games were also being held.

On the 1st of January 2012, the management of the Conference Centre was transferred to private hands. From then on it is the concession company, Palacio de Congresos de Granada S.A., which has undertaken the work of promoting and constantly developing the entity.
