SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE CROMATOGRAFÍA Y TÉCNICAS AFINES, DEPARTAMENTO DE QUÍMICA ANALÍTICA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE GRANADA, GRUPO DE INVESTIGACIÓN FQM-302.
On behalf of both Organizing Committee and University of Granada, we are pleased to invite the scientific community to attend the XVIII Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (SECyTA), which will be held in the Granada Conference Center (Spain), on October 2-4, 2018.
This conference aims at providing an interactive forum to share scientific and technological knowledge in the field of analytical separation techniques. Fundamental aspects and state of the art of chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and related techniques will be discussed. This includes instrumental developments such as coupling with mass spectrometry detectors and new trends in sample preparation. Applications in clinical, pharmaceutical, environmental and food analysis will also be covered.
The scientific program will include plenary lectures, invited lectures and oral communications (including a session for young researchers), as well as poster sessions, flash discussion of selected posters and commercial exhibitions.
On this occasion the XVI meeting of the Andalusian Group of the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry (GRASEQA 2018), chaired by Prof. Luis Fermín Capitán, is also held in Granada on October 4-5. We have organized both events at the Granada Conference Center establishing a synergistic relationship that we hope will be useful for those attending both meetings.
Granada is an emblematic city, crucible of cultures and civilizations that left their mark throughout the centuries. Located in a privileged location, only 35 km from Mulhacén -the highest mountain in the Iberian Peninsula- and 55 km from the subtropical coast, Granada is a vibrant, multicultural metropolis with an intense university atmosphere. Besides, the visitor can find one of the most visited monuments of Spain, the Alhambra, a 14th century Muslim palace and an absolute must-see attraction. The social program will include some events that allow us to enjoy the city, the tradition and the gastronomy.
See you in Granada!
